Marrakesh has a dozen or so jardins, built as oases to help people escape from the craze of the city. We visited two! While they were both beautiful, I wouldn’t call either one a respite. They were insanely crowded, and I’ve never seen as many influencers in one spot before in my life. But it is what it is.
First step was getting there! By this time we were thoroughly exhausted with being lost, annoyed with being harangued in the souks, and there was no taxi in sight, so we climbed in a tuk tuk! It was pretty fun!

JARDIN SECRET – This jardin had the most beautiful green tile work. And all the bushes in bloom were so aromatic!

JARDIN MAJORELLE – This space was once owned by Jacques Majorelle, who lived here with his wife until the 1950s. In the 80s, Yves Saint-Laurent purchased the property and restored it to it’s current glory. The jardin is filled with so many cool cacti!
