Last year’s Nativities were so fun! This year, I feel like things ratcheted up a notch: more performances to attend, more lines to memorize, more costumes to buy! But all the more joy! And what a joy it was!
Starting around Halloween, I was blessed with a daily recount of T2’s rehearsals:
“She was on fire today.”
“She’s really enjoying the songs.”
“We’ve made her Lead Angel.”
“We’ve never seen anything like her.”
“She is really nailing it.”
With these rave reviews, I felt like the expectations were high. But she nailed it! Mainly, because she was the only one NOT picking her nose. But seriously, her expressiveness and energy brought tears to my eyes. I’m no stranger to crying in the school hall.

As Lead Angel, she was also charged with collecting the charity donations. She took this job very seriously!

T1 did a fantastic job as well! Our sweet, soft-spoken guy didn’t miss a beat with his lines. He even had a little fun!

We are incredibly proud of these two. Not just when all eyes are on them, but (more importantly) in the everyday moments when they don’t think anyone is watching. That is when you see who they really are. And they are stars!
