It was time to head east to Dublin and prepare for our flight home. After 10 days of nearly-perfect weather, the Irish rain finally decided to grace us with its presence.
But since we couldn’t check-in to our lodging early, we stuck to the plan and made a stop at…you guessed it…RUINS!! We visited Dunamase Castle, also known as Rock of Dunamase, which dates back to the 12th century.

I gave everyone the choice to come with, or hang out in the car. Much to my surprise, and glee, the big kids wanted to come along! So, we donned the rain suits and off we went!

It was rainy, it was windy, it was cold. But that didn’t stop anyone! They were happy to explore and run through puddles. We had the place to ourselves and the views were great, despite the weather!

Final stop: Dublin!
