We have William the Conqueror to thank for yet another castle visit! We started the day at Corfe Castle, another Norman motte and bailey. It was shrouded in fog, which the kids thought was “a little spooky”!
We did some solid exploring and solid playing before heading to lunch.
We finished the day at Lulworth Castle!
Lulworth was hosting some half-term festivities, including an animal show! Everyone was brave enough to touch something! Big kids were able to choose to hold the python with their neck or their hands!
Hard to believe these are the last castles we will visit during our time here in England. There has certainly been a plethora of options! I’ll have to go back and tally up the visits for a total count. Regardless the number, there are still so many left to see. Next time, next time.
